About
Most European cities have a large amount of data related to public space availability and usage. With the spreading of new technologies, mainly thanks to the IoT (Internet of Things), more and more data will be available in the coming years.
However, to transform data into useful information it is fundamental to have people trained in Urban Mobility Data Science.
ADA, the Agile Data Analysis for sustainable cities and citizens activity of the EIT Urban Mobility, aims at reducing the knowledge gap existing in Big Data and Data Science among professionals and organizations of the urban mobility area through training courses, provided as Virtual Data Lab. This means that you don’t need to be a Data scientist to make sense of this Data.
Moreover, the ADA course offers the possibility to have hands-on new anonymized Urban Mobility data using the European FIWARE platform.
We present a 2 days course on using real time Urban Mobility data to increase your knowledge and take the proper decisions based on data.
In this course you will learn how to use Machine learning with real time streaming big data with the FIWARE architecture and the Spark Scala framework. We will introduce our easy to deploy EDVL in the cloud and be able to analyze some anonymized real life dataset.
The course will be online on the 24th and 25th of November 2021 from 16:00 to 20:00. You will learn both the basis and a hands on laboratory.
